A man who was the subject of a dramatic manhunt in central Newfoundland this weekend has been apprehended.
Ian Williams, a 27-year-old resident of Bishop’s Falls, was arrested without incident around 11:30 last night at a lodge on the Buchans Highway.
Williams is alleged, along with two others, to have committed two armed robberies in Grand-Falls Windsor.
Williams is facing charges of robbery, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, resisting arrest, two counts of assault with a weapon, and breaches of court orders.
Williams appeared in court today.
