The Newfoundland actor best know for his Republic of Doyle series has been cast with some big name Hollywood stars.
Allan Hawco will appear as the character Coyote in season two of Jack Ryan. The series stars John Krasinski, who played Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office.
A series of tweets on Wednesday confirmed that Hawco will be part of season two of the Amazon Prime Video series when it streams next month.

Hawco says he shot the series last summer in Columbia and is looking forward to the show airing.
The series was written by critically-acclaimed author Tom Clancey. Clancey developed the character Jack Ryan in his books, which later became movies like The Hunt for Red October, and Clear and Present Danger. The series has since been adapted to the small screen by Amazon Prime. In the show Ryan is described as an up-and-coming CIA analyst.
Billed as an action-thriller, this role is a far cry from Krasinski’s character on The Office.
What Hawco’s character will be like is not yet known, but you don’t have to wait long to find out. Season 2 begins steaming on November 1st.
