A male pedestrian was allegedly struck by an eastbound sedan, and was tended to by firefighters after suffering an apparent leg injury. Paramedics arrived a short time later and took the man to hospital with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.
The stretch of road on which this collision occurred has become somewhat notoriously dangerous to pedestrians attempting to cross. There are several pedestrians struck here annually.
