Two men are suspected of involvement after police seized about two kilograms of cocaine from a residence in the centre city area.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Drug Investigation Unit, with the assistance of Canada Post postal inspectors, made the seizure on the weekend.
Operation Requiem has resulted in the arrest just before noon today of a 28-year-old man. He was held for court.
Charges are pending against another man, a 32-year-old, who was arrested at the scene on the weekend and released.
