There were no injuries, but RNC brought in the Police Dog Unit to track down a man with a gun in an east end residence in St. John’s yesterday evening.
Just before 7:00 police were called to a home, but the suspect had fled before they got there.
The 32-year-old man was located nearby shortly after and was charged with two counts each of pointing a firearm and weapons assault, careless use of firearm and causing a disturbance.
He was held for court.
