Heritage NL is looking for the Saltbox capital of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Heritage NL Facebook page issued a challenge over the Thanksgiving weekend, asking residents of the province to take a stroll around their communities and keep an eye out for saltbox houses.
They are looking for the community with the most Saltbox houses.
They are asking people to send pictures of saltboxes in your community to their Facebook page and they will create a map of the results.
Long weekend challenge! Take a stroll around your community and have an eye for saltboxes (houses like the sketch shown here). We are looking for the saltbox capital of NL! Please share to spread the word. 🙂
