Summer may be over and Fall is in full-swing, but that didn’t stop high temperature records from being broken in the St. John’s region on Sunday.
PAL Airlines and Aerospace Meteorologist, Brian Walsh says the peak temperature at St. John’s International Airport on Sunday was 20.2 °C.

That set a new daily high record for October 13th. The previous record was 19.6°C in 1983.
Sunday was also the warmest October day the area has experienced in the last three years, with a high of 20.8°C on October 23rd, 2016.
