Vaping and nicotine addiction will be the topic as the English School District partners with the Alliance for the Control of Tobacco for presentations to students in Junior and Senior High over the next two weeks.
ACT Executive Director Kevin Coady says vaping is the new look of nicotine addiction, and young people are being targeted.
The number of young people experimenting with and using vaping products has increased at what is being called an “alarming rate.”
Coady says they’re supplying schools with information for presentation to students in grades seven to 12.
