An alarming scene unfolded in Kilbride last evening when a pickup truck crashed into the corner of a house.
The incident happened shortly before 8:30 on Walsh’s Lane, when the driver of a pickup truck reportedly lost control of the vehicle while pulling into the driveway.
The truck collided with the corner of the house causing significant damage to both, and narrowly missing a parked car also in the driveway.

The driver was assessed on scene by paramedics, but did not go to hospital at that time.
Newfoundland Power crews also responded to the scene as the power mast and metres to the home sustained damaged.
