The unique stories of three young cancer survivors were told this morning at Holy Spirit High School in CBS, ahead of this weekend’s Light the Night Walk in Paradise.
Three unique stories, and one commonality: They are all survivors. That was the theme of a special assembly held at the school earlier today as they celebrated three of their students.

Aaron Rumbolt, Logan Millard and Ryan Ricard are all students at the high school and are all blood cancer survivors.
In front of a gymnasium jam-packed with their friends, the three teenagers sat up on the stage with former Premier and National Board Director of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Paul Davis, who is a blood cancer survivor himself.
They talked about when they knew they were sick, the treatment process, the road to recovery and how it has changed their futures.
Davis joined the students as they removed their sweaters to reveal shirts that read “survivor” on the back.
To end the event, several students lifted up lanterns, just like will be done at the Light the Night Walk in Paradise this weekend.
