A local singer-songwriter is calling it a “call to action.”
Colleen Power and Swervy Garland have released a new song and video calling on Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to demand answers from the provincial government on rate mitigation.
Billed as the Inquirettes, Power says their song “Goin’ on a Power Hike” is about demanding answers about how government plans to deal with the rising cost of electricity before it’s too late.
They want people to send their messages to Premier Dwight Ball and tell government how power rate increases will affect them.
