Marine Atlantic has cancelled all of today’s gulf crossings due to high winds and rough seas expected off the southwest coast of the island.
Ferries have been halted until tomorrow at noon as gale warnings are in effect for the gulf.
Wind warnings have also been set along the west coast, with gusts expected to reach upwards of 100 km/h, or 140 in the Wreckhouse area.
