There is a new record holder for the women’s course of the Cape to Cabot race, with a time of 1 hour, 19 minutes and 32 seconds.
Jennifer Murrin finished first out of all women who participated, and second overall in the race.
A record 448 participants crossed the line on top of Signal Hill, Sunday morning.
Kathleen Parewick also competed in the race and stresses how difficult it must have been for Murrin to set a new record time. She says Murrin is a bionic women and congratulates all women who competed in the event.
Zach Putt finished first overall for the second straight year, with a time of one hour and sixteen minutes, shaving two-minutes off last year’s time.
Murrin finished in second place, while Mark Richards came in third, with a time of one hour and twenty-five minutes.
