Newfoundlanders and Labradorians will see a familiar face on this season of the Amazon Prime Series, Jack Ryan.

Local actor Allan Hawco plays Coyote—a Navy Seal who helps the lead characters complete their mission in the jungles of Venezuela.

Hawco says playing with Jack Ryan star John Krasinski was a memorable experience. He calls him a hard worker and a great guy.

Hawco says Krasinski is a “giant” and he jokes he looks like a Smurf standing up next to him.

As for whether Hawco takes off his shirt in this series—something that’s become a bit of a signature for the actor in recent years—he told the VOCM Morning Show, you’ll have to wait and see.

He laughs that he’s in the jungle a lot and that’s all he can say.
