The last cruise ship of what has been a busy season in St. John’s is in port today.
In total, 30 of the 38 cruise ships scheduled have come into port this year.
The city of St. John’s says this has been one of the busiest cruise ship seasons they have ever seen, with over 20,000 passengers coming to the capital city by the beginning of September.
The last ship of the season, the Amadea, is down in St. John’s harbour until 5:00 this evening.
