Newfoundland and Labrador’s Santa Claus helper is releasing a book and raising money for polio while he is doing it.
The long time Rotary Club member, Bruce Templeton wrote his fourth book, In Search of St. Nicholas, to bring joy to children across the world. Templeton was induced into the Santa Claus Hall of Fame as the 24th Santa in the world and the first in Canada.
Every copy of Bruce’s book sold will immunize 40 children in Pakistan and Nigeria against polio – the last two countries where polio remains.
He says it is an absolute privilege to be able to bring so much joy to children and he cherishes it.
In the book, Santa makes a visit to Navaeh Denine and Kaden Little.
