The investigation into the spring disappearance of a senior in central Newfoundland continues.
Seventy-year-old Andy Canning of Bridgeport on New World Island left his home on May 29, and hasn’t been seen since.
Canning was known to regularly walk the roads in the region. Police, family and community members have conducted extensive searches along the highway on both New World Island as well as in and around Twillingate, but no sign of Canning has been found.
Anyone with information, or who may have seen Canning in the hours prior to his disappearance, is asked to contact Twillingate RCMP at 884-2811.
