Halloween is fast approaching, which means spooky decorations are popping up at homes across the province. One house in the capital city however, is attracting a lot of attention.
For the last three years Shannon Johnson has been wreaking some Halloween havoc on his front lawn on Cowan Avenue.
An array of decorations greets passersby including skeletons, ghosts, witches, clowns, cobwebs, and more.
Johnson says over the last three years he has spent between six and seven thousand dollars on the displays, which he says he does simply for the community to look at and enjoy.
Johnson says he doesn’t necessarily have a “favorite” piece, but does say he keeps some of the cooler electronic pieces, such as a Michael Myers prop, inside due to weather.
