Thousands of “trick or treaters” are hoping for decent weather tomorrow night as they ring doorbells and knock on doors to fill up their goodie bags.
Environment Canada not expecting much in the way of precipitation for the eastern half of the island, however the western half will have showers or periods of rain.
The St. John’s-Gander-Marystown block will be dry but the south coast west of the Burin Peninsula, the west coast and parts of central will be on the wet side according to David Neal of the Gander Weather Office.
He says that precipitation will persist throughout the evening. Temperatures will be in the single digits during the prime trick or treating hours.
Many parts of Labrador will have some of the white stuff beginning Thursday afternoon and continuing into Friday. About 10 cm is expected.
