Today’s high winds are causing havoc in some neighbourhoods where garbage collection is taking place.

Calls to the VOCM Newsroom indicate there are garbage bins upset and blown around on city streets where garbage is being collected today.

One caller says the tops are being damaged and some no longer have their lids, having been knocked off, while other bins are impeding traffic.
