Firefighters made quick work of a vehicle fire early this afternoon.
Shortly before 1:00 p.m., crews from the Mount Pearl Fire Station were called to a dirt road near the Ruby Line Pumping Station, next to Robert E Howlett Memorial Drive. When they arrived they found a pickup truck fully engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing across Ruby Line.
It took firefighters only minutes to knock the flames down.
The vehicle, a black Ford Ranger, was reported stolen on Halloween night. It was completely destroyed.
The RNC investigation is ongoing.
