The George Street Association is realigning its operations and shutting its office in downtown St. John’s.
That’s according to an email which Jonathan Galgay sent to the association membership. In the email, he says his two-year contract as Executive Director has come to an end, effective immediately.
He tells members that the George Street Association is not entering into any new contracts with employees or entertainment until an AGM is called to elect a new board. That, he says, won’t occur until the end of January while a new Shareholders Agreement is conducted.
