A man was rushed to hospital last evening after being struck by a vehicle in the capital city’s west end.
Emergency crews were called to Captain Whelan Drive shortly after 6 p.m., to reports of a vehicle-pedestrian collision.
First responders arrived on scene to discover that the man was struck by a sedan.
He was tended to in the roadway by paramedics and firefighters before he was taken to hospital via ambulance.
The extent of his injuries are unknown.
