Gerry Byrne is not apologizing for his comments made this week.
He says he does not agree with accusations being made about him and he will never, ever apologize for the comments.
There are calls for the dismissal of cabinet minister Gerry Byrne.
Byrne drew the ire of the PC’s when he accused Mount Pearl North MHA Jim Lester as condoning poaching.
He also accused St. John’s Centre NDP MHA Jim Dinn of condoning racism.
Opposition Leader Ches Crosbie wants Premier Dwight Ball to fire Byrne from cabinet for his accusations and behaviour in the Legislature.
NDP leader Allison Coffin joined that call yesterday.
Allison Coffin says it was obvious for the two to get together and Ches Crosbie says “Byrne has gone rogue” and need to be excused from cabinet.
