The Carbonear Heritage Society has received a valuable donation for their museum from a family in the area.
A Dey Time Register from the old Saunders Howell Company would have been used to record time and employees numbers when they punched in and out each day.
The clock, donated by the Pike family, would have been used daily at a firm for many years.
The clocks date back to the late 1800s and would have been sold in the United States, Canada, England, Austrailia, and Russia. The clock in Carbonear came from New York.
A Dey Time Register has two access doors to change the roll paper and has engravings.
