The leader of the federal Conservative party is in central Newfoundland today.
Andrew Scheer is scheduled to meet with the mayors of Gander and Gambo and with the local Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce this afternoon.
The event is not open to media.
The Leader then moves on to Halifax where he will attend the Halifax International Security Forum on Saturday. That event is open as a photo opportunity only and the leader will not be taking questions from the media.
