The Annual Downtown St. John’s Santa Claus Parade is planned for tomorrow with 100 entries to pass through the streets. The official go ahead will be made at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.
If it does not go ahead tomorrow, it will take place Sunday, December 1 at noon.
Starting at Fort William Building on Factory Lane, the floats, groups, bands and dancers will travel along Plymouth Road to Duckworth Street. The Parade then travels through historic Downtown by moving west along Duckworth Street to Prescott Street, down Prescott to Water Street, and west along Water Street, ending at Springdale Street.
In total from the opening float to the man in red himself, to watch the parade it will take one hour.

Gaylynne Gulliver with Downtown St. John’s says that Santa is ready to go.
She says they have been in constant communication with Santa and he is reminding everyone to make a donation to the Community Food Sharing Association during the parade.
The parade will begin at noon at the Fort William Building.
