The Newfoundland Growlers topped the Royals 4-3 Saturday night on the road.
The Growlers, Joesph Duszak got things going just 1:43 into the game. Aaron Luchuk added another later in the game. Ralph Cuddemi tied the game at 2, five minutes into second. The Growlers and the Royals traded goals in the third period.
Neither team could accomplish a game-winner in regulation time and Growlers took the win in OT.
The team is on the road in Reading, Pennsylvania, for another game tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. Newfoundland time.
