A 36-year-old man was arrested after assaulting a woman in Conception Bay South on Saturday night.
At 10:40 p.m., RNC responded to a disturbance at a home in the town.
The man was charged with assault, uttering threats, forcible confinement and overcoming resistance.
He was held to appear in court.
