New Year’s will arrive—metaphorically speaking—a bit sooner than usual in St. John’s.
Fireworks will be launched at Quidi Vidi starting at 8:00 instead of midnight. The skating party at the Loop goes from 5 to 7 p.m.
The city says it is moving the time of the fireworks ahead to be more accommodating to families.
