MusicNL has announced the list of nominees for its 2019 MusicNL Awards.
After some financial and structural uncertainty earlier this year, the organization—which helps to promote musical talent in Newfoundland and Labrador—announced it will be putting off its annual awards show at the LSPU Hall on January 28.
Stingray, the parent company of VOCM has two nominations—Greg Smith for Industry Professional of the Year, and Stingray Radio for Outstanding Company of the Year.
The list of nominees will be pared down from six to three at a MusicNL event scheduled for Wednesday, December 4 at Fred’s Records in St. John’s.
