The Newfoundland Growlers fell short 6-4 against the Worcester Railers last night.
The Growlers and the Railers traded goals in the first period, heading into the second tied at one.
Just 30 seconds into the second period, Growlers’ Colt Conrad gave the team their first lead of the game. After some back and fourth, the period ended 4-3 for the Railers.
Worcester held the lead in the third, with a final score of 6-4.
The Growlers play the Maine Mariners tonight in Portland. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m. NL time.
