Christmas tunes flood the airwaves tomorrow afternoon as we at VOCM ring in the Christmas spirit with the “VOCM Dial-A-Carol.”
It is a holiday tradition whereby callers request their favourite Christmas song in exchange for a pledge. This year, the money raised goes to the Single Parents Association of Newfoundland and Labrador through VOCM Cares.
VOCM personalities will be behind the microphones from 1:30 to about 6:00 tomorrow afternoon.
Elaine Balsom of the Single Parents Association says demand this year is up.
They have 335 families registered for help, the most ever. The Dial-A-Carol will help them meet the demand this Christmas.
