The Newfoundland Growlers finished their seven-game road trip on a high note, beating the Maine Mariners last night.
After a scoreless first period, Brady Ferguson got the Growlers started by burying his first of the night within the first four minutes of the second period.
Then, Ferguson picked up his second of the night on a power play in the third period, putting the Growlers up 3-2 with a little over 11 minutes left in the game.
The final score was 5-2 for the Growlers.
The Growlers are now 13 and eight this season, their next game is Tuesday night against Reading Royals at Mile One.
