You can expect to see new pay stations in downtown St. John’s this winter.

The City of St. John’s will start installing the cashless pay stations in 2020.

The pay stations will have payment options including credit cards, debit cards, smart phones and ‘tap’ card readers. All pay stations will be cashless during their first year in operation.

As new pay stations are added, old meters will be relocated to areas where they are needed until all pay stations are in place.

The city will also place timed parking area signs where there are currently missing or damaged meters.
