The Executive Director of the Alliance for the Control of Tobacco says he is encouraged that provinces are taking the so-called vaping crisis very seriously.
The province of Nova Scotia today announced that it is going to implement a ban on the sale of all flavoured e-cigarettes and vaping juices—the first province in Canada to do so.
Yesterday, the provincial government announced it is not going to allow the sale of cannabis vape products in Newfoundland and Labrador—at least for the time-being.
Kevin Coady of ACT says the provinces are getting more serious in dealing with the problem.
He says there have been so many cases of serious lung ailments linked to vaping that the NL government is making the right decision to protect people.
