Man Shot in Apparent Hunting Accident Near Botwood

One man was taken to hospital following an apparent hunting accident in the Botwood area this week.

RCMP say the injured man was one of two men hunting near Green Valley Farms in Botwood on Tuesday morning.

The man was taken to hospital in Grand Falls-Windsor for treatment of a gunshot wound.

The matter remains under investigation.
