With just one week away from packing up donations to send to women in need, a local group says they have learned so much about the people of the province.

Princess and the Purse is a group that has been organized in the province for four years that provides purses full of essentials to women.

Project Coordinator, Kelly Carew, says the feedback this year has been amazing. Her drop off locations have been filling up and she has been moving purses out to organizations in need before the planned date to make space.

She says she continues to say to herself, “people are so kind and people are so generous.”

Carew says people often question humanity but it is at times like these that you realize people are so kind. She says she wishes she could meet everybody who donated.
