It was a hard fought game for Team Canada, but the Americans have claimed their sixth straight Para Ice Hockey Championship, beating Canada by a single goal for the fifth time in a row.

Despite the loss, the jam-packed crowd at the Paradise Double Ice Complex still stood proud and cheered loudly as both teams accepted their medals.
After a scoreless first period the Americans buried one in the second and another in the third.
Canada answered back with a goal in the third period to bring the final score to 2-1.
