A man has been arrested after an employee at Tim Hortons in Springdale was allegedly assaulted.
The incident began unfolding at about 6 a.m. on Sunday. Baie Verte RCMP say the 59-year-old, who is from Springdale, assaulted the employee before going inside the business, where he continued yelling and screaming.
The man was tracked down and arrested at a residence. He’s facing charges of assault, uttering threats, and causing a disturbance.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
