The island can expect to see high temperatures beginning tomorrow, but that comes with a price.
A combination of high winds and rain will prevail over most of the island with the southwest coast getting the highest amounts.
Environment Canada Meteorologist, Justin Boudreau says the Avalon will see winds picking up by mid afternoon tomorrow from 100 km/h up to 120 in some areas.
Boudreau says the island will see 10-30 mm of rain beginning tomorrow morning in the Metro region.
Boudreau says the temperature will drop by Thursday and the island may see some snow.
