St. John’s traffic helped police nab a suspect who was trying to get away yesterday.
Just after 5:00 p.m. RNC officers tried to stop a vehicle which had made an improper pass on Pennywell Road, but it took off. The brief chase ended when the it got stuck in traffic.
The 34-year-old man driving was arrested, not only for the pass and driving while suspended, it turned out he was also in breach of court orders and possessing break in tools.
He was held for court.
