After nearly a year out of commission, the Perry’s Cove United Church is being permanently closed.
The church has not been used for worship since January, after high levels of mold were found in the building. The local pastoral charge issued notice that a decision was made to disband the congregation.
They’re awaiting permission to sell the property.
A service of deconsecration is being held Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m..
