A 15-minute drama made in Newfoundland and Labrador has been named co-winner of A&E’s Short Filmmakers Award for best film.

The film, Touch, was created through the Newfoundland Independent Filmmakers Cooperative with support from the NL Film and Development Corporation, the NL Arts Council and City of St. John’s.

Director Noel Harris will split the $1,250 prize with Kyle McDougall—who directed “You Will Survive Doomsday.”
