People in central Labrador should avoid a portion of the snowmobile trail system for the next week or so because of snow clearing.
5 Wing Goose Bay will be moving snow on Dome Mountain Road starting today and continuing for a week. Snow removal in that area then takes a hiatus until just after the new year.
The work is required to ensure safe operation of the 5 Wing airfield.
During the removal, there will be heavy equipment, tree-clearing vehicles and crews along the road to Dome Mountain.
