A Shanneyganock Christmas is always a favourite event in the metro area, and in recent years the band has been bringing the show to more communities across the island.
Speaking on the VOCM Irish Newfoundland Show with Greg Smith, lead singer Chris Andrews says they started the show 20 years ago at O’Rielly’s Pub, and then they expanded the show to the Delta, which they have sold out many times.
After many years of success the band started getting questioned about if they would be bringing the show to other communities, and they decided to go for it.
Andrews says the original show, held on December 27th every year, is a special time.
