Police have seized more crack cocaine on the Burin Peninsula.
A 51-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested on Thursday after being busted with cocaine packaged for sale, cash, illicit marijuana, multiple 60-ounce bottles of contraband liquor and other drug paraphernalia.
Police issued a search warrant, searched the home and charged the pair with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of illicit cannabis.
They were released to appear in court in February.
Meanwhile, this is the third incident involving search warrants and cocaine in the past two months.
Charges were laid against two Marystown men: a 26-year-old for trafficking cocaine and a 47-year-old for trafficking in cocaine and possession of illicit cannabis.
