A taxi driver lost her license after being pulled over by police last night.

Just after midnight RNC officers stopped a taxi on Newfoundland Drive and was determined to have been driving under the influence by a Drug Recognition Expert.

The 45-year-old had her license suspended, but police believe more charges are pending as the investigation continues.

The name of the taxi company was not released.
