After a woman took to Facebook to share her experience from a random act of kindness, the man who paid for her items while Christmas shopping was tracked down – and it turns out, it wasn’t his first time.
Roxanne Jackson was picking up a few odds-and-ends at Dollarama in Concpetion Bay South and the man behind her only had two rolls of tape in his hands. She decided to let him go ahead of her in the line up.
To her surprise, the young man offered to pay for some of her items. He insisted and started taking items from her cart and placing them on the counter.
The two rolls of tape cost him around $40.
She says she tracked him down and it turns out he has did this around 200 times before.
She was able to track him down through the use of social media and after it was shared, she saw his profile picture and knew who it was.
Jackson was pleased to be able to thank the man who brightened her Christmas season.
Roxanne Jackson’s experience at the Dolarama earlier this week reminds us how important a simple act of kindness can be. She joins us live @590VOCM next. @Fred_Hutton #payitforward pic.twitter.com/tTmybIjmLe
