It looks like it’s going to be a white Christmas for for most of us on the island.
Environment Canada has issued special weather statements for the majority of the island, with the only exception being the Northern Peninsula.
According to the statement, snow is expected to begin in the southwest tomorrow evening and will spread across much of the island on Tuesday.
Between 10 and 20 cm of snow is expected, with more possible. The winds will be a factor as well, with gusts of between 60 and 80 km/h possible on the eastern potion of the island on Christmas morning.
